"Since I was little, I wanted to be a missionary," said Corbett, who first went to Haiti in 1982 at the invitation of a priest.
She stayed a month, without a working knowledge of the language or a place to stay. Her husband took care of their seven children.

St. Louis, MO (KTVI-FOX2Now.com)— Gang members plan to take over an area playground this weekend and police are gearing up to keep everyone safe. Fox 2 investigator Chris Hayes has the exclusive report about the annual gathering at a Wellston city playground and what police plan to do about it.

Wellston used to be a safe white suburb of St. Louis until people like Corbett and her "church" had their way.  Now we have this:

Chief Walker says his officers' mission is to keep the peace. They know they're outgunned. He said, "At the present our officers are carrying 40 caliber semi-automatic pistols. We've seized AK 47s, 30 ot 6 sniper rifles, just all kinds of heavy, heavy artillery, some with cartridges that will even penetrate protective vests that are worn by the officers."


Chief Walker added, "There is definitely a disparity in firepower. We have taken steps to level the playing field. We've ordered 4 M16 fully automatic rifles that will be arriving within the next few days to be used as patrol rifles for our cars."

He says they hope to never use the new firepower, but he'd rather be proactive than reactive.

Got that?  Niggers with sniper rifles.  Niggers with AK47s.  This is being repeated all over formally White America.  It is the logical conclusion of the terminal disease called Liberalism.  It will mean our ultimate destruction as a race and civilization.

Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) suggested the Federal Communications Commission was “not working anymore,” adding she would look at ways to better police language on the airwaves. A brick was thrown through a window of Slaughter’s district office last year.

Slaughter cited Palin’s use of gun sights to target Democrats in last year’s election and the assertion by Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle (R) that “Second Amendment remedies” might be needed to stop the Democratic agenda.

ST. LOUIS -- A bartender at Maggie O'Brien's was shot and killed in a robbery attempt late last night, police say.

Mike Dolan, 32, had been a bartender there less than a year. The attack happened about 11:45 p.m. Monday at the popular pub at 20th and Market streets.

...Another resident, Lillie Smith, said she woke up after the shooting, came outside and saw Jonas on his back, wounded on the ground, next to his police car with the car door open.

"He was shot up pretty bad, in the left eye," she said. "He was trying to say something. I stayed with him until the police arrived. I just told him, 'Hold on.' But he couldn't. That's sad. That's very sad."

Smith, 52, said she has lived in the apartment complex 14 years.

"We've been having a lot of shootings around here," she said. "Sometimes, they'll be shooting guns up in the air. Sometimes they are shooting at each other."

Missourians are rushing to arm themselves with concealed weapons at a record pace so far this year.

Criminologists and law enforcement officials say the increase may be driven by fear of increased crime due to the recession and the perception of potential loss of gun rights from a new Democratic president.

"People just don't feel safe, whether it's with the political structure or the economic situation," said Noelle Fearn, assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice at St. Louis University.

STL cop sentenced for misusing database

A former St. Louis police officer was sentenced to probation and 40 hours of community service Tuesday for misusing a law enforcement database.

Marla A. Arinze, 43, of St. Louis, was found out when investigators overheard her on a wiretap in another criminal case agreeing to run a name through the REJIS database to search for immigration warrants, according to court testimony.

St. Louis County woman held in murder of own child

CLAYTON -- St. Louis County police today announced that a 20-year-old woman has been charged in the murder of her infant last year.

Prosecutors on May 14 charged Sharnique Jones, of the 3800 block of Salome in North St. Louis County, with second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and first-degree assault. Jones is being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond, police said.

Jones was charged with the "intentional suffocation of her 3-month-old infant," who died on April 7, 2008, police said. Prosecutors allege that she suffocated the child after Jones had withheld food from the baby, police said.

Healthcare providers and social workers "had repeatedly warned Jones about the inadequate care she had been giving the infant," St. Louis County police said today.

Then, on Jan. 26, Jones gave birth to a second baby, police said, and then tried to suffocate that child. In addition, social workers and healthcare providers, again, told Jones that she was not providing adequate nutrition.

After the second time Jones allegedly tried to kill her child, police and prosecutors reviewed the first baby's death last year and it was ruled a homicide, police said.

Police would not release the babies' identities.

UPDATE: O’Fallon man with swine flu had traveled to Texas

A 24-year-old O’Fallon man who recently traveled to Texas is the first person in the St. Louis region to have a confirmed case of swine flu.

Three other cases involving two people in Platte County and one in Jackson County were detected Tuesday by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Missouri to eight.

Four additional cases of swine flu are suspected and awaiting confirmation from officials.

It was not clear where the O’Fallon man contracted the disease, although a spokesman with the St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment said the man recently had traveled to south Texas to visit family.

"At this point we don’t know where he picked up the virus," said Cameron Satterfield, a spokesman for the county health department. "It could have been down there, it could have been up here."

The man was not hospitalized and is taking antiviral medications and recovering at home, Satterfield said.

Swine flu is a respiratory disease in pigs that can also infect humans. The virus can spread from person to person through coughing or sneezing.

People who have swine flu are contagious from the day before they start to feel ill to seven days later, according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

None of the people the man has been in contact with has felt sick, Satterfield said.

As a precaution, several of his co-workers who had contact with him recently are staying home for the next few days, Satterfield said.

"You want to go back a little bit before (the day the person first felt ill) to be safe and make sure you’re getting everybody," Satterfield said.

Health officials expect to see more cases of swine flu in the area.

"We expected this to happen," Satterfield said. "It was a when, not an if."

The O’Fallon man is not in school, but county health officials have been in contact with local school officials to give them new recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about school closures.

"They now say you don’t have to close the whole school down, just to make sure the person stays home and monitor the rest of the children," Satterfield said.

As of Wednesday evening, there were 642 confirmed cases of swine flu in 41 states across the country, and two deaths, according to the CDC. Illinois had the largest number of cases at 122.

Worldwide, the virus has spread to 23 countries with more than 1,800 people sickened.

Satterfield said more people are on alert and if they experience flu-like symptoms are going to doctors and hospitals to get checked out.

If you start to experience flu-like symptoms, including fever, body aches, runny nose or nausea, contact your health care provider.

Murdered Humans

H. G. waited until she could no longer make out the truck's headlights. Then she got up to examine the other victims who lay exposed and face down in the snow.

Befort was next to her. She rolled his naked and battered body over. This was the man she loved, the man she knew loved her. He wanted to marry her but had not gotten the chance to slip the engagement ring on her finger.

Blood flowed from his head and eyes. Maybe he was still alive! Shivering and near-naked, H.G. removed her sweater, the only garment she had on, and tied it around his head to stop the bleeding.

She went to Heyka but soon realized there was not much she could do to help while she was there.

Seeing lights to the west a ways off, she thought the building that had them "was like some sort of farming type thing" and believed it might not have a phone. Looking toward the highway, she saw a home with Christmas lights on.

Like all things identified with this holiday season, bright and multi-colored Christmas lights represent joy and love and the spirit of giving.

For H. G., from whom so much had been taken loved ones, security, and dignity those lights meant comfort and help.

As she raced toward the Christmas lights, she saw car headlights and immediately dove into the frigid blanket of snow because she feared it might be the attackers. Every time she saw headlights, she flung herself to the ground, waited, then got back up to run toward those beckoning lights.

H.G. got to a fence and climbed over it. She crossed a highway that was almost empty due to the hour. Then she climbed over another fence and found herself on a dirt road that appeared to be behind a subdivision. She got to the back of a home, then raced around to the front door and repeatedly rang the doorbell and pounded on the door.

She had run a mile. As a child, H.G. was nicknamed "Toughy" by her playmates. She had lived up to that name.

The owners of the home, a man and a woman, peeked out a window to see a shivering, bleeding, naked woman on their porch.

They opened the door and let her inside, then bundled her up in blankets.

"Call 911!" H.G. exclaimed.

The man made the call. First he tried to tell the police emergency operator what H.G. had told him. Then he handed her the phone. Somehow H. G. was able to make herself speak clearly and calmly as she directed the police to the soccer field. She hoped that Befort might still be alive.

He was not. H.G.'s hopes were dashed and her heart broken when told that the man she loved and three people dear to her were found dead.

Police believe that while H.G. was making her way painfully through the snow, the attackers returned to the 12727 Birchwood Dr. house to steal more items. They also beat and stabbed H.G.'s muzzled dog Nikki to death.

These two niggers, one of which had a job paying $700 a week and both living with their parents rent free, couldn't resist the call of their genetics and are now in jail without bond for killing two humans at the Steak N Shake in South County. Less than a hundred years ago, the jail would have been stormed and these pieces of filth would have been strung up, shot and burned. Tony Akins Sr., the father of the two men, told the Post-Dispatch this morning that he, his wife and four of his six sons were sleeping in the home when police broke down his front and back doors. Police made them wait on the front lawn while they searched the home, he said.

Police carted off evidence taken from the home. Tony Akins Sr. said his two sons had worked at the Steak 'n Shake until about six months ago. The older one was fired; the other one quit, upset because he thought he was being passed over for promotions, Akins Sr. said.

"If they done this .... I just don't understand why, because they had everything going for themselves," Akins Sr. said.

The Akins' small, frame home is well-kept with flowers in front, but family members were sweeping up the broken glass and cleaning up other debris in the wake of the police search.
