Aaah ... Boondock Saints - one of my favorites also.Of course we don't condone their drunken behaviour and such, but as you say - this scene tugs at the righteous desires of us all.
True brother, we can't condone the drunkeness, but being they are Irish I think they could be forgiven :)Here's what they say in case the accent is too deep for some (favorite in bold):Now you will receive us!""We do not ask for your poor or your hungry.""We do not want your tired and sick""It is your corrupt we claim""It is your evil that will be sought by us""With every breathe we shall hunt them down""Each day we will spill their blood 'til it rains down from the skies""Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. This are principles that every man of every faith can embrace.""These are not polite suggestions. These are cores of behavior, and those of you that choose to ignore them will pay the dearest cost.""There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you to lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over. Into true corruption. Into our domain.""But if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it!""And we will send you to whatever god you wish.""AS SHEPPARDS WE SHALL BEFOR THEE, MY LORD, FOR THEEPOWER HATH DESCENDED FORTH FROM THY HANDTHAT OUR FEET MUST SWIFTLY CARRY OUT THY COMMAND AND WE SHALL FLOW A RIVER FORTH UNTO THEE,AND TEEMING WITH SOULS SHALL IT EVER BEAs you point out, this speaks deeply to those with the Law on their heart.
Just watched this vid again and it brought to mind - do you remember the "interviews" they recorded in the films closing ... that one chunky fella who was stirred up - said he was ready to get busy RIGHT NOW ! Ha !
Haha, We need lots more of those kind!
